Carrying the latest Bluetooth 3.0 technology, the M55 includes the A2DP Bluetooth profile for audio streaming capabilities, so you can listen to music, podcasts, or GPS directions from your smartphone. With its multipoint pairing capability, you can quickly switch active connections between two paired phones and answer calls from either one.
The M55 includes voice alerts that can whisper talk time, battery level, and more. Other features include enhanced clarity on wideband-enabled smartphones, reduced noise, wind, and echo for better call clarity, a comfortable fit in either ear, and up to 11 hours of talk time. The M55 offers micro-USB charging, and you'll get a full charge after being plugged in for 2 hours. It's backed by a 1-year limited warranty.
Always Ready with DeepSleep Mode
Plantronics DeepSleep power-saving mode activates when your M55 is away from your phone for over 90 minutes. When it's back in range (33 feet or less), you can just tap the Call button to "wake" it up. Using the DeepSleep mode can extend the standard 16 days of standby time up to 150 days.
Voice Answer
The M55 lets you be truly hands free when a call comes in. You'll hear a ringtone in the headset, and then it will ask: "Incoming call, answer or ignore." If you want to answer the call, just say "answer." It's that easy.
Vocalyst Voice Service
The Vocalyst service allows you to stay connected with your voice. You can say "Facebook" to post to Facebook, "Listen to Email" to hear your email, or "Reminder" to record a reminder. You can even listen to up-to-the-minute news, sports, and weather feeds--all hands-free. Vocalyst works with any phone, and has additional features for iPhone, Android and BlackBerry, and is offered free for the first year.
