Question by waterinpool: what cell phone would work well for a person with shaky hand coordination?
I have C.P. and want to know what cell phones are out there for a spastic condition.

I'd suggest two possibilities: either get a phone with large buttons, or get a phone that you can set up to respond to voice commands. Avoid phones with tiny buttons; those take a lot of control, even for people whose coordination skills are "normal."

What are unlocked cell phones when purchasing them?

I am currently using AT&T for phone service and I want to purchase a cell phone. But I just upgraded a few months ago. I was wondering what are unlocked cell phones. Can u purchase those for without commiting to a 2 yr contract?

Unlocked phones aren't tied to any one provider. A locked phone is where, if for example it was ATT and you put a Verizon SIM in it wouldn't work. Unlocked can take any SIM.

If it helps. My laptop is a toshiba satellite. My cell phone is a motorola krzr.

I don't know if your laptop is bluetooth compatible. Mine isn't, so I went to Walmart and bought a bluetooth adapter that plugs into my USB port for $ 20. I put my cell phone (Motorola V323i) into discovery mode, and told the laptop to search for all devices within range. It saw my phone within 10 seconds.
