We have a cell phone but its one of those little rinky dink prepaid phones; me and my husband are looking for cell phones w\ affordable plans; we mainly need it for my husband because of his job. I looked at a few websites but they really didn't help me at all.

I definetly reccomend that you use T mobile. They have affordable plans and phones. You can get a family plan and a free phone on the website. 1-800-tmobile

My dad is getting me, my brother, and himself new cell phones. I was wondering about cells and networks like do some cells only work with Sprint or Verison. My brother wants a Lumium something something that runs on windows and I want a cheep flip phone that has a GPS, any suggestions?

Your dad needs to figure out how much he can afford to spend each month on a cell phone plan. Once he has figured out what provider he will use you should go to that providers website and see what phones are offered. Then read some reviews on each of the phones that you like. Then make an educated decision on the best phone for you.

I've been trying to do my homework, and unfortunately the cell phones that look really cool with the best features are not usable where I live. verizon seems to have the coolest, with T-mobile next. I can get an iphone here, but the others seem better. Unfortunately, no coverage here for either company. Why can't you just pick a phone you like and it work with a different company?

Well darling it seems that your looking at its prettyness only,
see the way cell phones work is Basically very simple.
think of it this way babe, Verizon Has the most cell phone towers in the whole United States and then ATT next.
The Difference is relaly shocking, because verizon runs off of 2 to 3 frequencys as ATT has only 2 and thats that :(
Your T-Mobile Is Much Much Worse sexy, as they are owned by a German TeleCommunications Company:( and they have spotty coverage at best :( They use the SIM card Technology and Verizon and Sprint and Cricket Dont, They Use a System Called CDMA. My Suggestion is Look it up and Get Familiar with your area and their coverage map also. Anymore Questions feel free to Hit me up as I am The Professor :) HE HE Good Luck Baby, Verizon and ATT Are my Choice of Carriers Solely :)

walmart has a new phone plan called smart talk for like 45 dollars a month and it includes everything like texting and all that crap.
