Do cell phones use cell phone satellites from outer space to get the current date and time? How does that work?

Of of them do, except I don't think outer space, you connect to a tower, and that tower connects to the satellites, however some cellphones just have you put in the time manually.

My dad is getting me, my brother, and himself new cell phones. I was wondering about cells and networks like do some cells only work with Sprint or Verison. My brother wants a Lumium something something that runs on windows and I want a cheep flip phone that has a GPS, any suggestions?

Your dad needs to figure out how much he can afford to spend each month on a cell phone plan. Once he has figured out what provider he will use you should go to that providers website and see what phones are offered. Then read some reviews on each of the phones that you like. Then make an educated decision on the best phone for you.
