I have been having a bad run of luck with my cell phones. My phones are only subjected to the normal wear and tear of every day life, but they keep dying on me. What cell phone should I consider buying if durability and longevity are my top priorities? Bells and whistles don't matter.

There are a plethora of phones on the market today that cater to people who want a rugged, long lasting (and ultimately well working) device. Alot of them are designed for construction/ outdoor business use. Sprint Nextel is known for it's durable push to talk models like the Motorola i series, which feature rock solid exterior and a simple user interface. A similar comparison would be Verizon's Gzone series, very durable (and with a great network).
