Question by J: What do people do with these broken cell phones on ebay?
I have a broken cell phone on ebay and people are bidding on it knowing it was submerged in water. I see most of the other broken phones are being bid on too. What do people do with cell phones that have sustained signficant water damage?

Rogers cell phone broke. Family willing to buy me a replacement phone. Looking at a decent "unlocked" cell online. Wondering if Rogers SIM card can simply be inserted in unlocked phone and and voila everything will work fine?
