I never get a solicited phone call on my cell phone but when im at my house i always get them like 2-3 between the hours of 4-8pm why do they only target house #'s?

There are federal regulations that prevent telemarketers from calling cell phones becuase you have to pay for the time you are on the call. Becuase cell phones are in different local prefixes than standard "land line" phones, they can easily not call them. If you are annoyed by the calles to your home phone, search Yahoo for the "Do Not Call Registry" and signup.

Simply because it's the law, at least today. Laws change. To clarify a couple things on the Do Not Call Registry, it only works for a few years and then you have to do it again. I had to do it again myself recently. Secondly, certain entities are exempt, most notably political messages and any company you have had a prior relationship with like your church, purple heart, United Way, etc. It does knock the volume down though.
