Personally, I don't like them. We have 2 boys, 15 and 17 who don't have cell phones, but would like to. I feel that the use that is made of cell phones is for the most part a waste of time. We have one cell phone which I keep for the person who is using the car, or for one of the boys on certain occasions. Am I being too old fashioned?

I mostly use my cell phone for emergencies.
If I'm at the mall with my friends, I can just call my dad to come pick me up.
If my dad is taking too long to pick me up from school, I can call him and remind him to pick me up or ask where he's at.
If I'm lost, I'm safe. I have my cell phone (:
