Providing enhanced mobile broadband performance to keep you connected with access to email, the Internet, and business applications while on the go, the easy-to-use Sierra Wireless AirCard 881 for AT&T plugs directly into your laptop's PC card slot and seamlessly connects to AT&T's 3G and EDGE networks. It offers plug-and-play capabilities and it's compatible with PCs running Windows (Vista, XP, 2000) and Mac (OS X 10.4 and later) operating systems. AT&T offers a variety of rate plans, including both unlimited and capped plans.



The AirCard 881 plugs into laptop's PC card slot and keeps you connected to email and the Internet via AT&T's 3G network.

The AirCard 881 runs on AT&T's 3G High Speed Packet Access (HSPA) BroadbandConnect wireless network, which has upload speeds between 500 Kbps and 800 Kbps and enhanced download speeds ranging between 600 Kbps and 1,400 Kbps. The faster download speeds provide an optimal wireless Internet-browsing experience, and the faster upload speeds will enhance users' ability to send large files, such as e-mail with attachments, photos or business documents.

It works seamlessly across HSPA 3G and EDGE/GPRS networks and provides you with the ideal mix of coverage and performance whether you're traveling across town or across the country. Additionally, the AirCard 881 can be used internationally, with global plans covering additional data usage in select roam zones in more than two dozen countries, including many European countries, India, China, South Korea and Japan.

The Sierra Wireless AirCard 402 is compatible with both PC Card and ExpressCard slots on your laptop.
The AirCard 420 modem is optimized for Sprint's Evolution-Data Optimized (EV-DO) Revolution A (Rev. A) network, which provides average download speeds of 600 kilobits per second (kbps) to 1.4 megabits--and peak speeds of 3.1 Mbps where EV-DO Revision A is available--as well as average upload speeds of 350 to 500 kbps. When connecting within a Rev. A coverage area, the AirCard 420 can download a 1 MB email attachment in about 8 seconds and upload the same-sized file in less than 13 seconds. Mobile users can access:

The AirCard 402 includes Sierra Wireless's automatic software installation experience for Sprint SmartView. A CD is no longer required so you're up and running in fewer steps and less time. If you switch to a new laptop, the AirCard 402 will automatically begin the installation setup and you won't need to search for a setup CD. Hands-Free Activation will complete the setup by automatically activating the device on Sprint's Mobile Broadband network quickly and easily.
