What do yall do with your cell phones when you upgrade?

Question by jffctr: What do yall do with your cell phones when you upgrade?
I don't have anywhere near me that recycles cell phones.Has anyone ever donated them to the salvation army?

Your recent provider should offer this service. My provider is Cingular, and they take my old phone and it goes to a woman's shelter. Call your provider ; they should be willing to help you. Many agencies want these used phones !!

    I erase all numbers in mine
    then i donate it to police station who give them to womens shelter
    Women in abusive relationships need access to 911
    and
    even phones with no plan work with 911

    give to a elderly person who can't afford a cell. can be used to call 911 only , when not activated

    no but you can send then to a special adress they use them in contests like texting and throwing and stuff

    I have traded mine in on occassion when I buy a new phone and you can also sell them on Ebay. I guess they could be donated to local charities as well.

    I heard that you can donate them to soldiers over in Iraq. Ask your cell phone company, they should be able to help you.

    I bring it to the shelter for women....they love it...you still can dial 911...

    the cell-phone for our soldiers need to be un-locked GSM 4-5 quad cellphones! USA GSM dont work overseas....
