Unlocked phones are able to be used on any toher Mobile Carrier other than the Carrier it was made for. The "safe" part Im unsure about. I've never used an unlocked phone before.if the SIM card is active then the unlocked phone should work. Im not totally sure if this will help but I have done some research on Unlocked Phones.

An unlocked cell phone is a phone that has been either designed or modified to work with any compatible network service. Presuming that we're only talking about GSM cell phones (the kind that take SIM cards), an unlocked phone would be capable of using a SIM card from any carrier. A locked phone would only be able to using a SIM card from the carrier it was designed for. A few phones are sold unlocked originally, but some are legal and/or illegal unlocked to be used with other networks.
ReplyDeleteIt's notable that you're likely to pay extra for an unlocked cell phone. You might find luck at ebay by including "T-Mobile" in your ebay search to find used phones designed for T-Mobile.

ReplyDeletegood luck !
Unlocked cell phones are used for any other networks in different countries. If it is a locked phone or normal phone, you need to unlock your phone to use with different sim cards. For that, you have to request your network provider to get unlock code or from any of the online service providers like
ReplyDeleteTheunlockspot.com to unlock your phone. After unlocking your phone, you can use it with any other GSM networks independently.
