camera take pics and video only.....

MMS (pic texting) has nothing to do with having a camera. MMS is a program feature built into cell phones and activated by the Carrier....... 98% of all phones that were made 1980-2003 dont have MMS.... new phones made 2003-2005 started to get MMS.... by 2011... MMS is standard

maybe you had cheap and old phones

  1. Yes, it is possible. Whether or not you can receive picture messages doesn't depend on whether or not you have a camera. It depends if your phone was made to receive pictures. It's all about technology, not the camera. The phone that could receive pictures was probably newer or made by a different company that makes phones that allow pictures messages. It all depends on when it was made and the company that made it. It's completely normal. And sometimes it depends on your plan, because if you don't have texting or data included in your plan, sometimes phone companies will block picture messages.

  2. If you are saying that your friend receives pictures, then it is a safe bet that their phone can receive pictures. Having a camera really has nothing to do with receiving picture messages. The phone just needs to be able to receive MMS texts and display the pictures. Also, I didn't know they still make cell phones without cameras.
