ReplyDelete"Wholesale" electronics online is a myth, especially cell phones, anyone trying to tell you differently is scamming you. Cell phone dealers in particular barely get a discount on cell phones, they make their money by earning hefty commissions on service contracts. That's why companies that don't make you sign a contract need to charge more for for the handset. Others who make you sign the contract are willing to subsidize a large portion of the cost in exchange for their commission. Real wholesalers don't advertise online either. Trust me. Your best bet is to figure out your business model first and go from there. Decide how you want to monetize, who's services you're going to promote, and go from there. And NEVER, NEVER Buy from CHINA! Unless you're in it to lose big. I sell phones online as an affiliate.
ReplyDeleteMost likely you will have to become and authorized reseller of a cell carrier, because I don't know of any places that carry unbranded/unlocked phones besides the internet. But if you mean becoming a carrier store, you can buy phones directly from the manufacturer's website or call the carrier and ask them.
